Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on May 14, 2025.

At Power Any Where, Inc. (https://www.power-any-where.org), we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing solar lighting and energy to underserved communities around the world, we believe accessibility is fundamental to our mission of equity and empowerment.

What Web Accessibility Means

An accessible website allows people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities to navigate, understand, and interact with the content and services offered. This includes individuals using assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition software, and keyboard navigation tools.

Accessibility Features on Our Site

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and are continuously working to improve accessibility across our platform.

To support these efforts, our website has implemented the Sienna Accessibility Widget, an open-source tool that enhances usability and removes common barriers to access. Features we have enabled include:

  • Site language and content order settings

  • Clear heading structures and logical page layout

  • Alternative text for all meaningful images

  • Color contrast that meets WCAG standards

  • Minimized use of animations and motion

  • Keyboard navigation support

  • Support for screen readers and other assistive technologies

We use automated tools (including Sienna’s Accessibility Wizard) and manual reviews to address known issues and continuously improve the experience for all users.

Third-Party Content and Limitations

While we strive for full compliance across all pages, some third-party content embedded or linked from our site (e.g., donation platforms, external media players) may not fully meet accessibility standards. These include services not managed directly by Power Any Where, Inc. We are actively working with partners to improve accessibility wherever possible.
